About Me
Runner, musician, film nerd, and occasional mathematics & physics student. I’m passionate about theoretical physics, algebraic topology and differential geometry, and love exploring the connections between abstract math and the physical world.
Right now I’m in my final year of a double BSc (+honours) at the University of Groningen, co-authoring a paper on Wronskian identities and the const(p) sequence with Prof. Arthemy V. Kiselev, gearing up to TA Quantum Mechanics from September, and applying to graduate programmes in mathematical and theoretical physics.
Off duty
- Running. Completed my first marathon on 31 May 2026 (a goal held since 2019, seven years in the doing!) - entirely self-trained. Now eyeing a triathlon (Ironman 70.3); if you’ve done one, tips welcome - contact me.
- Music. Multi-instrumentalist: guitar (acoustic & electric) and tabla for about ten years (seven of them formal), piano here and there, and drums as the current main focus - jazz drumming especially.
- Languages. English, Hindi and Gujarati natively; currently learning Italian (Duolingo streak of 800 days and counting).
